Helmet Safety Notice

Only a helmet that carries the manufacturer’s DOT certification label, reading “DOT,” “FMVSS No. 218” and “CERTIFIED,” is certified by its manufacturer to meet Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 218, Motorcycle Helmets (49 C.F.R. § 571.218). Any helmet sold as a novelty helmet does not meet that standard. It is not safety equipment and must not be relied on for protection while riding.

Defiant Ones Motorcycle Association, LLC (DOMA) is a retailer. DOMA does not manufacture, test or certify any helmet. Certification is the manufacturer’s alone. DOMA makes no representation or warranty, express or implied, that any helmet meets any safety standard or the helmet law of any state. Before you buy, confirm the helmet’s certification with its manufacturer and check the helmet law where you ride. To the fullest extent permitted by law, DOMA is not liable for any injury, loss or damage arising from the use of any helmet, including a novelty helmet.
