Safety and Rider Training

Safety and Rider Training is the DOMA program that keeps our members learning. DOMA is open to every rider and every brand, and all of us ride better with training behind us. The program lays out the Motorcycle Safety Foundation's RiderCourses by stage, so you can find the next course for where you are as a rider, and it helps our lodges bring safety talks to their members.

How the program works

Find your stage

New riders and riders getting back on start with the Basic RiderCourse. Riders with miles behind them move up to the street, advanced and circuit courses.

Train with MSF

The Motorcycle Safety Foundation and its training sites teach every course. They set the class dates, the locations and the fees.

Bring it to your lodge

A lodge can host an MSF safety event for its members on topics like group riding, intersections, rider perception and riding as we age.

Why MSF

The Motorcycle Safety Foundation is a not-for-profit organization, founded in 1973 and sponsored by motorcycle manufacturers. Its RiderCourses are taught at training sites across the country, from your first time in the saddle to mastering the ride. That is why our program points every member to MSF.
